Please reach us at 50th@76Reunion.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
As of 7/29/2026 - We have;
A) The Reunion On Saturday evening
B) Sat morning school tour. The best part about the tour? It's free! (more info later),
C) Sunday breakfast at the Elks.
D) Working on an organized get together at the Union Hotel, but nothing firm at this time,
Dress code for the men is collared shirt tucked in, and no ripped jeans. With the ladies, it's essentially no ripped jeans. The dress code is not much more formal than that, but it's not uncommon for people to naturally dress up a little for these things! Birthday suits are discouraged.
Yes, there is a handicap entrance on the side door and about 4 handicap parking spaces by the front door of the venue.
Currently, just grads of 1976 and their significant other. But after August 31st, we may open it up to other years. It depends on the total count.
We are going to wait till after August 31. That's the date of the ticket deadline. Of course there may be a few stragglers, but no need to keep sending out list updates every few weeks.
Well, it depends on who you want to embarrass with their words of wisdom to you 50 years ago. So... we highly recommend this and encourage it !!! (Don't forget your JR High one as well.)
Well, your organizers are: Dede (Dispenziere) Memoli, Patti (O'Hare) Deluca, Kerry O'Connell, Phyllis (Renda) DeStefano and tag along: John Skolits. (He doesn't do much, just makes jokes all the time.)
Absolutely!! We encourage this type of discourse. There will be a special room set up for this event. Upon entering, you will be immediately transported to the Jersey pine barrens where the Jersey Devil will have its way with you.
1) Well, reach out to new friends, not the same old ones. You'd be amazed how much you may have in common with those who were never in your circle of friends.
2) Ask about grandkids, travels, hobbies, what people are enjoying now.
3) If someone doesn't remember you, or remembers a story differently, laugh it off. Fifty years is a long time.
1) Careers, money, kids' achievements. People didn't travel to hear about how well you did and see a barrage of photos on your phone. Keep it light.
2) Don't just hang with one or two people all evening. Spread it around. Make new friends.
3) Age/looks? Well even "you look exactly the same!" can land oddly. "It's so wonderful to see you" always works.
4) Watch the booze intake. Remember you may have to drive home. Times have changed and what you may have been able to get away with then, no longer applies today.
5) Don't try to sell stuff. (From John Skolits: "At our 10th reunion, I had a good friend try and sell me life insurance. While on the dance floor!")
6) Don't end up in the pine barrens. (See FAQ Question#8)
7) Don't talk politics or religion. A 50-year friendship can survive a lot, but a few drinks at the bar plus current events is a risky combination. So again, don't end up in the pine barrens! AMEN TO THAT!! (See FAQ Question #8)
At this point it’s still too early to tell the number of attendees for the tour. We expect it will not be a problem to add family members, but we will let you know as we get closer to the reunion date.
